A very kind and sweet natured boy, Fred is still a little green for his age but is beginning to school nicely. He has lovely paces and has begun to pop a few jumps which he really enjoys but still needs work on his canter which is still a little unbalanced. Fred will hack out in company but is still a little nervous on his own but is beginning to settle. Out and about he will go through streams, stand for gates and will amble by the usual monsters (salt bins, bags and wrapped bales) with no worries! He is good with cars, preferring to stand whilst they pass but is still unsure with tractors, bikes etc but will walk on bravely if given a little time. Fred has lovely stable manners and will happily stand for grooming in the stable or yard. Unfazed by dogs running around, he is good to shoe, easy to catch and excellent to box. 15hh potential hunter in Tiverton

Gentle easy going genuine honest nature, not sharp or spooky, doesn't buck or rear. Happily hacks alone or in company, just started some flatwork and poles and has popped a small jump at home but I must stress he needs more schooling. As you can see from the photos, he has very little muscle on his back end, which is reflective of the lack of flatwork I have done with him due to having small children and so little time. Lives out un-rugged and barefoot. Good with kids, farrier, dogs & to clip. Up to date with wormers feet and teeth. He hasn't done a lot but he has willingly done everything that I have ever asked of him, making this a very sad sale but I just don't have the time he needs to fulfil his potential. Potential working collie dog in Bude

Roy is a castrated 11mth old collie who came to us as part of the border collie and working sheep dog rescue. He is black and white and very slight in build. He is not suitable as a pet and we would not trust him around children. He came with complete distrust and showed aggression towards us in the beginning. However he is now showing brilliance in regards to sheep. He has learnt the lie down command which he responds to straight away. When loose with sheep he naturally takes straight of towards them and starts to move around them. He would make an amazing working dog with time, patience and the proper training. Hi we have here at our foster rescue a gorgeous 2yr old male intact Collie. He has no issues at all but has always lived out. He is great with other dogs and the animals and chickens around our small holding He has shown interest in our Sheep so would with training be a great working dog. He must go to a home either to work or with land so that he can fun free and live out. This lovely dog only came to us because sadly his owner ended up in hospital with depression and couldn't face looking after him or walking him. Most dogs come to us with major issues but this guy has been a gem from day one. We desperately want to keep him but we already have a working sheep dog and 6 house dogs plus the other rescues!!
