Hi we have here at our foster rescue a gorgeous 2yr old male intact Collie. He has no issues at all but has always lived out. He is great with other dogs and the animals and chickens around our small holding He has shown interest in our Sheep so would with training be a great working dog. He must go to a home either to work or with land so that he can fun free and live out. This lovely dog only came to us because sadly his owner ended up in hospital with depression and couldn't face looking after him or walking him. Most dogs come to us with major issues but this guy has been a gem from day one. We desperately want to keep him but we already have a working sheep dog and 6 house dogs plus the other rescues!! Roy is a castrated 11mth old collie who came to us as part of the border collie and working sheep dog rescue. He is black and white and very slight in build. He is not suitable as a pet and we would not trust him around children. He came with complete distrust and showed aggression towards us in the beginning. However he is now showing brilliance in regards to sheep. He has learnt the lie down command which he responds to straight away. When loose with sheep he naturally takes straight of towards them and starts to move around them. He would make an amazing working dog with time, patience and the proper training. ISDS 4 month Male Border Collie Sheepdog Working Potential

Jim is a beautifully marked, smooth coated ISDS (can be KC) registered border Collie sheepdog puppy. He is 4 months - D.O.B . Jim is already showing potential and is keen on sheep. Chasing and circling them (see video). He is too young to have had any formal training as yet but showed very willing when we took him to the sheep for the 1st time. He would make a great project for someone who is wishing to train a sheepdog. He has been bred from fantastic working lines with many trial champions in his pedigree. His grandsire is Richard Hutchinsons Sweep (winner of many national and international trials/championships). He could also excel at other sheepdog work - flyball, agility, obedience, working trails etc, or would make an excellent (very active) pet for those with an active outdoor lifestyle. This gorgeous welch collie came to us several months ago. He is 11 months old and has been castrated. Unfortunately he came to us as he had nipped a child whilst they were eating crisps! He originally lived in a house but whilst with us lives outside with the other rescue dogs, so he should remember about house training although we can not be sure! When he first arrived he was very unsure and it took a few weeks for him to gain our trust! He is now as daft as a brush, very affectionate and we trust him completely. He would ideally be looking for a rural home/ small holding or a farm where he could possibly be trained to work sheep and cattle. He is still young and will need to continue basic training. Only because of his history nipping a child, it would be preferred that the home didn't have small children. Here is the sweetest 2yr old collie intact male. This lovely boy came to us through no fault of his own. Sadly his owner became so depressed that he couldn't face leaving the house and therefore could not give this lovely guy any kind of life. Most dogs that come to us have big issues but this gorgeous boy has absolutely none. The only thing is that he has lived outside all of his life therefore is not house trained. He needs to go where he can either be trained to work sheep or to a small holding with lots of land and ideally live outside. He would suit someone with horses as he would run alongside in the fields I'm sure! He has sadly been bitten by another dog here recently so has a few war wounds on his face. These will and are healing. He loves water, travels great and is fantastic on and off the lead. He ignores our chickens, cows, horses and although has shown interest in sheep will stop immediately when told.(Just runs around them on the odd occasion, which is his natural instinct. This lovely castrated welch collie is looking for a new home. He is months and came to us as the owner couldn't spend the time with him that he needed. I did post him the other day and said he had nipped a child, this is NOT the case, it was my error. However this lovely dog had issues going into a crate and would bite out, he also had an issue with ironing boards!! The other issue was that he picked on the owners other small elderly dog, whether this was over doing the puppy play "who knows" but as you can see from the image he is great with my Yorkshire terriers. The crate issue is no longer and he happily takes himself in for the night with absolutely no fuss. He is great with all the dogs here and with the cows, sheep, lambs, chickens and horses. He would love a home with land and maybe another dog/dogs for company and to play with. He lives outside here but has lived in previous to us. This lovely boy has come on so much with us and now just needs somewhere for life. He will take a while to get to know you and trust you, but when he does he will be the most loyal dog that you could ever wish for. I am looking to re-home my collie dog to a working environment where he can reach his full potential. He is 1 year old, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped he can get narky when certain things annoy him but please don't let that put you off. Border Collie puppies - great behaviours working dog

Border collie puppies for sale, ready to leave at the end of November. - £400 each. These are from a great working line and the behaviours of their parents show this. Would be great to train for any purpose, very intelligent dogs. Originally, the mother was from a working farm background, but lives now on a nature reserve with goats where no sheep are present and thus just lives a free range happy life. However you can see in the way they eye up the goats, they would make great sheep dogs. The dad, if we were to train him would make a great working dog, he has the behaviours for it and I am sure the pups will too! These puppies are raised on a raw food diet and it would be great if anyone buying these look into this before considering purchase. They are the healthiest little pups and by putting them onto dry/canned food might be detrimental to their health seeing as they have never adjusted to such food. Raw diet is pretty simple... we feed them raw chicken bones (easily found in frozen bags from tesco chicken wings usually) and from the local butcher we get a pet mince which is organ and muscle meats to create the whole balance of what they would have eaten in a fresh kill. Alternatively you can feed them muscle meat and organ meat whole. Eventually we will be feeding our dogs from our own livestock through our efforts to become fully self-sufficient. If you would like to know more please do not hesitate to get in touch. The pups will need micro-chipping before 8 weeks of age, and this I will get done at the expense of the buyer, this should be approximately £20 at most. Unfortunately it is a new legality otherwise I personally would not have them done. I have yet to look into this as the pups cannot be chipped till 6 weeks of age. If I can find somewhere local to me to do it for free then there will be no extra charge. They will not be vaccinated on our side... it is up to the owner if they wish to do this. Being in the environment we raise them they develop a natural immunity and this is evident in how healthy their parents are living off the raw diet and being free range in the countryside. There are 8/9 available puppies, and if my counting skills are up to scratch, there are 5 boys and 4 girls. Photos and other information will be updated as and when I have it. Please note there are 10 pups in total, but I am considering keeping one or two of the tri-colour girls.
