Circa early 20th century Art Nouveau wardrobe in good condit

Circa early 20th century Art Nouveau wardrobe in good condition. Not as soft as pine, but pine in appearance, so not sure about timber used. It's in good condition with age related wear and a small amount of paint on the side, which comes off easily. Original Art Nouveau handles and carved detail to front. 6 Hooks inside which I suspect are original. There is a pine dowelling rail, which is recent. There are two nails from the outside which hold it in place. Draw to the bottom, and the top plinth can be removed. Measures 188cm high x 85.5cm wide x 36cm deep. cm high with plinth removed. It's not a large wardrobe so we used it in our hall for 10 year for hat, coat and shoe storage. We haven't found a place for it in our new house so that is why it is here. Thanks Read More

This pocket watch holder is very nice and has been used a bit. the watch holder stand on 4 round feet and ahs a nicely decorated back of coloured beads. The holder is complete with a silver Art Nouveau pocket watch. The pocket watch has a white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions and outer 5-60 numbers. There are also inner red hour numbers and a subsidiary seconds dial at the six. The dial has nice antique hands and is protected by a glass. ART NOUVEAU FRENCH MIRROR, BEVELLED EDGE WITH A SCULPTURAL LIGHT OAK FRAME. A large and exceptional large Art Nouveau mirror from France set in a flowing sculptural light oak frame, its design redolent of the style of Hector Guimard, who designed the entrances to the Paris Metro. The light oak frame has a lustrous waxed patina, and like all quality mirrors, this one has wide bevelled edge. The reverse of the mirror and frame is the original solid sheet of wood with metal attachments for affixing a chain to hang the mirror. Please note that in the main photograph I have digitally inserted a faux-mirror in order that my reflection holding the camera does not distract from appreciating the style and beauty of the frame. There is a close-up photograph included in this listing which shows the bevelled edge with the mirror reflecting the sky to show that is a perfectly normal reflective mirror. Antique Art Deco / Nouveau brass mirror / picture frame.

This is a beautiful Art Nouveau style picture frame, or mirror frame. It is marked on the rear Beatrice P. I am not sure what it is made of, though it may be brass. It has an aged brass finish on the front. Maybe could do with a good clean / polish. I did some research into Beatrice and found out that it was a trademark owned by John Harper & Co. Ltd., Walsall Road Works, Willenhall, UK. This pattern was originally produced probably between and , and this is most likely a later version, showing number P. What exact date this was made I have not been able to confirm from the code number. Fantastic condition with the lovely aged brass, and a beautiful style. There is a small leg at the rear of the frame, acting on a hinge, to stand the frame. There is some slight wear, and discolouration, through age. Measures: 30 cm high x 24 cm wide. Weight about 950 gr. It will take a mirror or glass of approximately 6 inches x 4 inches. (not included). The pictures form part of the description, so please satisfy yourself as to condition, etc. I have bought many items in the street markets of the Lot, South West France, where I had a home until recently. Similar frames can be seen for sale if you Google “Beatrice frame P” and look at images section. They are very beautiful, and collectable. You can see what a bargain this is! I can post at cost.
