The chairs and the main body of the table have been finished in Annie Sloan "Old Ochre" (which is a creamy "off White") The paintwork was then very lightly distressed to add to its style and character. Finally it was finished in a Polyvine "Wax Varnish" (which gives it the look & feel of wax but with the durability of varnish !!!) The extention is not housed in the table but has to be stored separate. The base has been painted in eggshell white. Shabby chic farmhouse style solid pine dining table & chairs

This solid pine farmhouse style table and four chairs has been painted in Annie Sloan's old white chalk paint and then distressed to give it the popular shabby chic look. The finish has been protected with clear wax. The table top and the chair seats have been stripped and sanded back to reveal the beautiful natural wood grain. This has then been enhanced in places and then a white wax wax applied over it to give it a bleached look. The table panels have been decoupaged with a white wood effect print to finish the look. The ladder back chairs are heavy and sturdy and the table legs remove for ease of transportation. Although this set comes with 4 chairs it could comfortably seat 6. This has a previous life so has picked up the odd knock along the way however this does not detract from the beauty of the piece in fact it only gives it a more authentic shabby chic feel.
