Great sounding little amp for practice, recording or small gigs. This amp is in as new condition, with all standard components, except that I've added a built in reverb. The reverb can be switched out from the front panel - in which case the amp circuit is EXACTLY as original - or, when switched in it can be dialled in to give as little or as much effect as needed. I will provide a full circuit diagram of the modification which was designed and installed by a professional (BBC) electronics engineer. I have done one or two small gigs with this amp and used it for recording and practice sessions. It is fairly loud for it's size but don't expect it to keep up with a rock drummer! These amps do sound better through a larger speaker (I tried wiring it up to a 2 x 12" cab and it sounded awesome) but, obviously, a lot of the appeal is its small size and weight. For sale is my great little Gilmore Jr. 1/2 Watt Tube Amp - and 2 watt mod. I used this for a little while with a 1x12 cab trying to keep my volume down whilst still playing a great vintage tube amp sound. I also have the valve and adaptor that take it up to 2 watts - still not that loud but an even cleaner sound. New it would be around £420 plus shipping and import duty AND it would come as a kit - you would have to build it. I barely use it now as I moved to an even smaller amp. Peavey Guitar Valve Tube Head Amplifier Custom Flight Case Amp Marshall Mesa Orange

Peavey Guitar Head This head is in fantastic working condition. The amp comes with a custom flight case by Castle Cases. If you remove the top of the flight case, the head can stay in the bottom of the flight case with all cables fitting in the back. Makes it super easy when gigging. Please see photos. I had the head modified (by a professional amp maker) to a removable IEC/Kettle Lead, as I found the built in kettle lead frustrating and it wouldn't fit in the flight case with the plug trailing out of the back. The reason it is at an angle is this is the only way this can be fitted safely. There is the usual small wear and tear to the tolex around the amp, nothing serious at all. Currently the amp has the standard grill mod, so you see the tube glowing from the front. I can revert is to original very easily before collection/delivery. I personally thought it looked cooler without. I have the piece of wood featuring the Peavey logo which will be supplied to you either way. There is a picture of this in the photos. The amp also comes with a red trimmed dust cover (see last photo)! Delivery & Collection I am based in East London and can deliver this amp to London/Essex/Kent/Surrey for petrol cost - however please message beforehand to arrange.
