Peavey Valveking Royal 8 all valve 5 Watt guitar amp

Great sounding little amp for practice, recording or small gigs. This amp is in as new condition, with all standard components, except that I've added a built in reverb. The reverb can be switched out from the front panel - in which case the amp circuit is EXACTLY as original - or, when switched in it can be dialled in to give as little or as much effect as needed. I will provide a full circuit diagram of the modification which was designed and installed by a professional (BBC) electronics engineer. I have done one or two small gigs with this amp and used it for recording and practice sessions. It is fairly loud for it's size but don't expect it to keep up with a rock drummer! These amps do sound better through a larger speaker (I tried wiring it up to a 2 x 12" cab and it sounded awesome) but, obviously, a lot of the appeal is its small size and weight. Gilmore Jr. 1/2 Watt Tube Guitar Amp

For sale is my great little Gilmore Jr. 1/2 Watt Tube Amp - and 2 watt mod. I used this for a little while with a 1x12 cab trying to keep my volume down whilst still playing a great vintage tube amp sound. I also have the valve and adaptor that take it up to 2 watts - still not that loud but an even cleaner sound. New it would be around £420 plus shipping and import duty AND it would come as a kit - you would have to build it. I barely use it now as I moved to an even smaller amp. For more information search for Gilmore Jr. 1/2 Watt Tube Amp. The kit is made in America by a company called Guytronix. Also - I am sure there are plenty of people discussing its great “articulation at lower volume” and other things that make this such a unique little amp. I might consider trade for a guitar cab.
