Could probably do with re-valve, these are the original valves and they're a bit noisy on warm up, they're ok at temperature but its usually a sign that they've seen better days. I first came across the Classic series after looking up Simon Neil's (of Biffy Clyro) guitar rig. Anyone who has seen them live will be aware of how great his guitar sounds. He uses a Classic 30 and a Delta Blues in his rig I believe! Anyway, I cannot keep them all, although they will eventually be put to use in the studio if I cant shift them. Peavey Guitar Valve Tube Head Amplifier Custom Flight Case Amp Marshall Mesa Orange

Peavey Guitar Head This head is in fantastic working condition. The amp comes with a custom flight case by Castle Cases. If you remove the top of the flight case, the head can stay in the bottom of the flight case with all cables fitting in the back. Makes it super easy when gigging. Please see photos. I had the head modified (by a professional amp maker) to a removable IEC/Kettle Lead, as I found the built in kettle lead frustrating and it wouldn't fit in the flight case with the plug trailing out of the back. The reason it is at an angle is this is the only way this can be fitted safely. There is the usual small wear and tear to the tolex around the amp, nothing serious at all. Currently the amp has the standard grill mod, so you see the tube glowing from the front. I can revert is to original very easily before collection/delivery. I personally thought it looked cooler without. I have the piece of wood featuring the Peavey logo which will be supplied to you either way. There is a picture of this in the photos. The amp also comes with a red trimmed dust cover (see last photo)! Delivery & Collection I am based in East London and can deliver this amp to London/Essex/Kent/Surrey for petrol cost - however please message beforehand to arrange. It has a solid state preamp section and a tube power amp section, basically the opposite of the Marshall Valvestate which has a tube in t he preamp but a solid state power amp. However, I much prefer a tube power amp/solid state preamp to solid state power amp/tube preamp. And those VT series Classics sound pretty good and Power tubes are 2 6l6GC's and the amp is fixed non adjustable bias so normally you will be fine when changing power tubes without a bias check.
