With a heavy heart we are looking to rehome our 3 year old tri colour collie. He is a beautiful dog but easily stressed and anxious. He does not cope with children at all and finds our household too stressful despite our best efforts. He would suit a couple or single person who is able to give him lots of attention and stimulation. We love him dearly and want to find a home that suits him. We have lots of strategies that help keep him calm and happy but sadly he is just too jumpy and unpredictable around our children, and their very existence causes his stress to be constantly heightened which is not fair on him and not safe for us. Calm happy dog when only adults he knows are around. Loves his walks and to play. Can be left alone during day no problem. Needs a loving new owner willing to take him on with the understanding that he needs more care and attention than most pets.

URGENT!! DESPERATLY NEEDED HOME FOR THREE ADORABLE PONIES!!

I have 3 miniature shetlands who desperatly need a new loving home due to work commitments and losing grazing. 2 are late teens but cant give accurate age due to them being rescues the third is 8yrs old and I bred her. I have had them many years and have struggled to keep them more and more after recently having to go into full time employment and family commitments. Its heart breaking but they really deserve somewhere they can be part of whats going on and with someone who has the time for them and to be involved with little children again. The older of the mares is the younger mares mother. The third is a stunning piebald gelding who is ride/drive altho he hasnt been used for a while. The younger mare has been broken to ride and has been long reined in harness and introduced to a 2 wheel gig but hasnt been used recently. I have 2 sets of harness, loads of tack and a 2 wheel gig that can go with them also feed, hay and straw, feed bins...... They are all brilliant with children, bomb proof, loving, never had lamminitus since iv had them. They have really been pets and part of the family. They have all done school fayres, riding lessons and even kids partys. They are the best childrens ponies you could wish for and they really really deserve much more than I can give them. Due to marriage breakdown and being full time carer for my disabled child, we have made the emotional decision to look for the best home for Samson. He is so loving, loyal and hasn't a bad bone in his body. I am looking for Samson to be the only dog in the home as he deserves to have undivided attention which is what I cannot give him. My issues are that my children must now be my sole responsibility, as one of my children is disabled I am unable to consolidate family time with his walks (children have 13 weeks holidays a year and so therefore I am unable to meet his needs too) I want him to go to the best home so I would be asking lots of questions and likewise happy to answer any in return. This is my nearly 4 year old collie x lab she is 3/4 collie, she's vaccinated microchipped and spade, this is an heart breaking decision for me but I can do no more than what I have for her, her ideal home would be as an only dog even though she lives with 3 others and a couple with no kids or older children 10 plus, she's a lovely dog but has very high herding and prey drive, no matter if she's walked a mile or 10 miles a day I'm still having the same problems, I have 2 very laid back Rottweilers and she targets my male mostly if he gets a bit excited she attacks him, I have 5 children and the youngest is 2 nearly and she's wary of him if he's excited, she's ok if the atmosphere is calm but as soon as the energy changes to hectic or excitement then she's unpredictable, if my toddler drops food she's will go for it but if another one of the dogs does she attacks but yet she will eat out the same dog bowl for dog food, my house feels like a prison to the point my kids can't play unless she's shut in the kitchen, when I say she attacks it's snappy bites but she has caused puncture wounds on the other dogs I'm really at my wits end I love her dearly but feel something as to give my boy Rottie looks constantly miserable I have had her since she was 8 weeks old and she seems to get worse as she gets older, please help I will not hand her over to anyone who isn't suitable and I will be carrying out home checks Read More
