This is my nearly 4 year old collie x lab she is 3/4 collie, she's vaccinated microchipped and spade, this is an heart breaking decision for me but I can do no more than what I have for her, her ideal home would be as an only dog even though she lives with 3 others and a couple with no kids or older children 10 plus, she's a lovely dog but has very high herding and prey drive, no matter if she's walked a mile or 10 miles a day I'm still having the same problems, I have 2 very laid back Rottweilers and she targets my male mostly if he gets a bit excited she attacks him, I have 5 children and the youngest is 2 nearly and she's wary of him if he's excited, she's ok if the atmosphere is calm but as soon as the energy changes to hectic or excitement then she's unpredictable, if my toddler drops food she's will go for it but if another one of the dogs does she attacks but yet she will eat out the same dog bowl for dog food, my house feels like a prison to the point my kids can't play unless she's shut in the kitchen, when I say she attacks it's snappy bites but she has caused puncture wounds on the other dogs I'm really at my wits end I love her dearly but feel something as to give my boy Rottie looks constantly miserable I have had her since she was 8 weeks old and she seems to get worse as she gets older, please help I will not hand her over to anyone who isn't suitable and I will be carrying out home checks Read More

Good experienced home needed

Barney is a 7 year old bullmastiff x Rottweiler whom I have had since a puppy. He needs to be rehomed due to no fault of his own as I now have to work full time and have back problems so am unable to walk him. He is very good around children and some other dogs, has no health problems, has been neutered and loves affection. He is a large dog so would need a home with experience of larger breeds, he sheds (quite a lot) and drawls (quite a lot!) Beautiful mixed collie needs experienced home in Mansfield

My beautiful boy Murphy is 6 months old. He is in need of a home but he needs to be with someone who knows what they are doing. This is a very honest post we rescued Murphy thinking we could give him a better life. We did give him a better home but we honestly had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Murphy came to us at 16 weeks old having had no socialisation or any training. Since then he has come on in leaps and bounds. When we first got him he was a ball of nerves and all he wanted was cuddles and he lived on my feet. Now though he is very very friendly. So much so that he is too friendly, but only on his terms. He is very very jumpy to people he loves. He does know the command down but he soon forgets it when he's in his love zone. He has the basic commands sit wait leave look here and lie down. He also can do sit pretty which is very cute. He is toliet trained reasonably well too. The problem is Murphy missed out on a very important period in socialising and when out in a walk he becomes that very scared nervous dog again. He barks and jumps and pretty much has no skills attention all in the lead. His nervousness comes through in barking and shaking which looks terrifying but I can promise you 100% there is nothing aggressive about my boy. He has not been castrated so at 6 months old he is getting a little big big for his boots but this is in no way aggressive. He is fantastic with children. All he wants to do is pklay tugging rope and fetch. He will quite often bring his toy and sit at your feet, the only trouble is that he is very jumpy and still slightly nippy so I would suggest no small children. He is definitely not good with cats though. He has been microchips, vaccinated flead and wormed. He has just had a full health check last week. He is ready for castrating but this is a personal choice. He will come with everything from bed toys brush and food.

3 Yr old Collie-Lurcher EXPERIENCED HOME REQUIRED

He is a very beautiful,sweet boy but is anxious around my children's friends,which he has shown by becoming quite growly at them.We are also having problems with our neighbours as we have shared access to the back of our house. He is fully trained.he is friendly with other dogs but is quite annoying towards them and won't take a telling-off from them,resulting in the other dogs becoming aggressive to him.He is suitable for someone who goes walking(not bothered about sheep) and doesn't have children or dogs.He is cat-friendly but does like to chase them around the house. New home needed for anxious but adorable collie in

With a heavy heart we are looking to rehome our 3 year old tri colour collie. He is a beautiful dog but easily stressed and anxious. He does not cope with children at all and finds our household too stressful despite our best efforts. He would suit a couple or single person who is able to give him lots of attention and stimulation. We love him dearly and want to find a home that suits him. We have lots of strategies that help keep him calm and happy but sadly he is just too jumpy and unpredictable around our children, and their very existence causes his stress to be constantly heightened which is not fair on him and not safe for us. Calm happy dog when only adults he knows are around. Loves his walks and to play. Can be left alone during day no problem. Needs a loving new owner willing to take him on with the understanding that he needs more care and attention than most pets.
