This is the very lovely Archie. He is a 5 year old male terrier and he is on the look out for his very own home. Archie never gets a second look, he never gets asked about, he watches the other dogs come and go around him. People don’t know what they are missing, he is such a sweet boy. Archie hasn’t had an easy time of it since he has come to us. He has had some medical problems with the movement in his legs – it s a neurological problem and he is currently on medication (1 tablet per day) and this will be continuing for the foreseeable future, but we will cover the cost of this for the many years to come for any new home Archie is lucky enough to get . It doesn’t stop him though, he maybe cant walk as far as other dogs, or jump as high, but he has just as much love to give - he loves his toys, and he loves his snuggles! Archie is a very loving, special boy and we hope there is someone out there for him that can give him as much love as we know he will give them! Nearly 4 years ago Cheeky showed up at my door. I felt sorry for him, fed him and immediately he moved in. I have had him regularly vaccinated, flea and tick treated and chipped with Anibase. He was neutered. His vet thought he was 3 years old at the time I registered him so he'll possibly be 7 now. Cheeky loves sleeping on my lap and playing with a long shoelace I drag around the garden. He's a bit fat at the moment so needs more discipline. But he's lively and can easily scale fences. He's sensitive so would need patience at first until he gets used to his new owner but he'll love his feeder! Comes with a cat carrier, wet and dry food, treats, catnip and toys and beds if wanted. We are reluctantly having to re-home our beautiful 10 month old red and white Malamute male Chewie, as we just cannot provide him with the time, space and attention he needs to thrive. Although he came to us with some behavioural problems, we have worked hard with him and he is now fully house trained, good with food, sleeps well alone, has good recall (for his breed) off lead and is very responsive to commands. He is friendly and inquisitive but has issues around other dogs. He can be a little timid and fearful and has done well in our busy household but we feel he would be suited to a quieter, more gentle home (no kids or other pets). He needs someone who understands the needs of this breed and can take him on regular runs and daily exercise. He would also make an excellent working dog. We welcome any questions and visits from prospective new owners as we really want him to go to a suitable home. He is micro chipped, neutered and vaccinations all up to date.
