Chime or silent modes hairspring mechanism. Manufacturer: Not known, probably German, marked 'PATENT No OTHER PATENTS PENDING, FOREIGN'. Original seller: COLE, Watchmaker and silversmith, 81, High Street, Poole'. Approximate date / year of manufacture: C's – ’s. Country of origin: Not known, probably Germany. History: Label on door shows original seller. There are two dates on the underside of the clock: and which are probably service dates. Exterior: MINT. Case, chrome bezel, hands, face all good. Mechanism: Mechanism in good condition but requires attention, possibly tight spot in going train, Hairspring escapement is good. Probably a straight forward fix, unable to repair myself due to other commitments. Does not have original key but I can supply a new after market key for £3. A lovely clock with a visible history. It has a "oblong wood" around the border and alternating friezes of silver aluminium angular shapes and shaped linear motifs. The clock face is of silver metallic colour with black colour numbers and black hands. Condition is superb with no wear, no scratches, no damage. All the WHITE PARTS GLOW IN THE DARK looks good. Here is a 3d printer base on the Mendel with heated bed. Its a project that requires Attention. X,Y,Z all home. Spent a bit more time with it got extrude working now found there is a problem with the firmware, needs Merlin 1.0.0 running Mendel. the problem seem that the wrong configuration was put in it builds half its size so 100 would build 50mm and so on. i did not install firmware so don't have a copy of it. will need to be all re configured this is a twin head once its all up and running other parts not shown. So I have listed as requires attention / spares repair needs some one who has time to work with it. as you can see the control box all working, Any questions email me and i will try and answer them.
