Metamec mains clock (early s) requires attention

Won't start, armature needs a flick, then runs OK. Worm gear bearing holes elongated, one of which I have sort of fixed with a staple to occupy the space, and that has worked for a few years now. The adjuster is worn and a bit fiddly to get it to engage (pull it out) but it can be done. Front needs a clean on the inside. Hence ideally suited to a clock repairer for restoration. Read More
