A nun is kneeling on the right, and there are three other male figures. The blue figure on the left seems to be holding a cloth (?). Against the background on the right a mensa, and the wall of a church.On vellum. From the Netherlands or Flanders. This is concluded from the blank verso of the leaf, which is common in that region. According to the border decoration the leaf is from around . Size: cm. The border decoration has acanthus leaves and thin trails with buds. This image is quite rare, compared to other images of miniatures.Condition: In good condition with wear, particularly on the bottom half. With a dog-ear. It was written by hand around .With black letters in 17 lines, including 10 large initials in blue or gold colour with fine pen decorations. Two small line fillers, and in purple ink the following parts of the ceremony are indicated: hymn (hym), prayer (oro), versicle (V). Some small initials are decorated with gold paint.
