Lovely roan and white gelding. Project.

I am having to sell my 3 years old gelding- Chip. Chip is a friendly and brave roan and white sport horse. I had him as a project, but realised that I won't have time to bring him on with a little baby. He hasn't done much and is still putting weight on and losing winter coat, and will be a headturner when he does. He is good in the stableIs (no vices and good to brush), good with farrier, good on the leadrope and been loose jumped (got videos) and is very brave over jumps. Stands 15hh at the moment and should still grow. He is very good for a youngster, but due to being a sport horse and green schooling I will sell him only to an experienced 10* home, that will bring out his potential. no time wasters please. CHESTNUT ROAN WELSH GELDING

Beautiful registered Welsh Section C gelding standing at hh. 6y/o. Clean limbed. Easy to do in most ways, good to load, groom, bathe, stand tied up and good with the farrier, however if out in a big field full of lush grass he can be difficult to catch, but he will come in for a bucket of feed. He has recently been taken back to basics with schooling work, he has three lovely paces, but he is still quite green and does occasionally need reminding of the correct lead in canter on his right rein, but he is very willing and wants to please, he is anybodys ride, he will happily plod around with a complete novice but will also step it up for a more experienced rider. I have just introduced him to jumping, which he loves, and I feel this is where he will excel with the right rider. He is fantastic to hack out either alone or in company, he is good in all types of traffic and he is never silly, strong or spooky. He is very low maintenance and easy to keep. This boy has the biggest heart and the kindest horse I have known. I have owned him for nearly 3 yrs and know him inside out, not a bad bone in him. With a heavy heart, Rolo is for sale due to no rider and going to waste in the field, we have owned Rolo for 5 years and he has been an absolute gem, ridden by novices and very young riders, he is a typical cob, greedy, lives on fresh air, and a super plod... he is a fantastic hacking horse and will go for miles, he is as near to super safe as it gets, nothing fazes him at all... he doesn't like schooling and can be very stubborn but in the right hands he will do his job and has competed at local level show jumping.... he lives out all year round and will not be stabled, we have tried and he dislikes it to a point of jumping the door!!! He travels better with company but we have travelled him alone several times... he is barefoot but has been fully shod before... he is up to date with jabs and teeth... rolo has been out of work for a few months but very easy to get back on him... he takes everything in his stride.. if you want a steady back or take him in s field for a gallop he is happy to do either,, schooling and jumping can soon be brought back with work and he is a beautiful boy who looks great in the show ring.... the only bad thing I can say about him is that he can be a little bargy on the ground, usually food related, greedy cob, he just needs to know who is boss, but he has a heart of gold and not a bad bone in his body Read More

Gorgeous Blue Roan Blagdon Gelding

This is Smurf Standing approx 13hh Fully inoculated Wormed Registered & passported with CHAPS (Orions Shining Star) Blue Roan Blagdon Gelded Being shown successfully inland Smurf is a fab little guy who is rising 2, I think he is a later foal just due to the way he is. I bought him after seeing his advert online as a rising 3yr old colt standing at 14hh! When I completed the 5hr drive to get to him I saw he was actually an ill treated tiny young pony......I wasn't going to bring him back as I don't want to just collect them however what I witnessed while there made me load him up with the intention of getting him straight & going from there. He has been gelded with me, passported & registered with CHAPS and microchipped, jabbed and up to date with his feet which are just trimmed. He is a seriously good looking, loving boy who I have absolutely fallen in love with but as much as it breaks my heart he is not going to make the height I want or need. The vet & I believe he will be approx hh fully grown but built like a tank as he has huge knees! He loads & baths like a pro, I've taken him out in hand showing both local & championship level and he's done exceptional always placing in the ribbons. He moves straight & correctly. He attended a national youngstock show Dec winning 5 out of 6 of his classes (placed 2nd in 6th class) also bringing home a championship & reserve championship title from the evening performances. He is walked out & he's awesome in traffic! We get lorries, busses, motorbikes, tractors literally everything & he just doesn't even care! The only one thing I've found that made him jump was a temporary roadworks sign that was bright yellow as he came round a corner one day which all he did was jump. He's never while being led or inhand reared at me, bucked or kicked EVER. I can literally do anything to him and he is fab! My children have led him around. I think when the time is right he will make an awesome show cob both ridden or inhand and is perfect for driving too. He will come with any rugs I have at the point of sale for him. He is a very spoilt boy, I want the same kind of home for him that I provide as a minimum as he deserves to never know the nonsense he had to come from again. 13.2 Roan Gelding 9 years Perfect all rounder. Buster is bombproof out hacking, goes out with our 12 year old unaccompanied and accompanied. Loves to jump, good with traffic, open spaces, alone or in company first or last. Handled daily by our 12 year old. Would suit a confident rider as he can put in the very occasional excitable buck but nothing nasty, just a fly buck, and for this reason only not suitable for a complete novice. He has done hunting, jumping, fun rides and has jumped 70cm on training days and cm in competitions this summer. He is barefoot at the moment, but has had front shoes in the past.
