Stunning strawberry roan gelding 7 year old, traditional chunky cob, with lots of feather and mane. Standing at 15.3hh, backed just over a year ago but driven out on the roads before that. Currently in a snaffle bit and developing nicely in the school, is walk, trot and cantering confidently and pops a small jump. Safe to hack out on the road and not bothered by big machinery due to being on a busy yard so see's jcbs and tractors regularly. Also hacks on the farm ride, has also been to the beach. With a heavy heart, Rolo is for sale due to no rider and going to waste in the field, we have owned Rolo for 5 years and he has been an absolute gem, ridden by novices and very young riders, he is a typical cob, greedy, lives on fresh air, and a super plod... he is a fantastic hacking horse and will go for miles, he is as near to super safe as it gets, nothing fazes him at all... he doesn't like schooling and can be very stubborn but in the right hands he will do his job and has competed at local level show jumping.... he lives out all year round and will not be stabled, we have tried and he dislikes it to a point of jumping the door!!! He travels better with company but we have travelled him alone several times... he is barefoot but has been fully shod before... he is up to date with jabs and teeth... rolo has been out of work for a few months but very easy to get back on him... he takes everything in his stride.. if you want a steady back or take him in s field for a gallop he is happy to do either,, schooling and jumping can soon be brought back with work and he is a beautiful boy who looks great in the show ring.... the only bad thing I can say about him is that he can be a little bargy on the ground, usually food related, greedy cob, he just needs to know who is boss, but he has a heart of gold and not a bad bone in his body Read More

She is halter broke and is easy to lead in walk and trot and is also good to catch. RUPERT 13.2hh strawberry roan gelding 5yo. Rising 6. Registered section C Rupert is such a perfect pony to do in all ways. Good to box/shoe/clip. Currently unshod.
