He is a clever lad who knows his basic commands and will take a treat nicely from you. He loves his humans and probably his favourite ever thing to do is to spend time with staff and dog walkers. We think given the time and exercise he needs he will calm down with this giddiness, he will also be neutered when he is rehomed so this will help him to calm down a bit more. STAR - gorgeous, super friendly Staffy needs loving home

Star is a super friendly, smiley 6 yr old Staffy who loves to roll on her back for tummy tickles! She has a fab personality and is so happy and full of fun! Star is typical of the Staffy breed, she can be giddy and excitable, but just because she loves people and attention so much! She has been good around children, and could live with children aged 8+. She does as she’s told and is quite obedient, she will go to her bed if told etc. She knows commands and also walks nicely on the lead. She hasn’t been a chewer in kennels at all, and has been a very good girl. She does like lots of attention, so would probably be happiest in a home where she won’t be left any longer than 3-4 hours during the day. Bella is an absolutely gorgeous Blue and White Staffy who is around 6 and a half years old. Bella is very friendly with people, and is also good with children. We don’t think she has had a very good life before arriving in our care, and needs a home who have lots of patience and time for her. She is nervous when out on walks, her tail goes between her legs and she pulls quite a lot on the lead as he gets herself panicked and worked up. She needs a calm, confident owner who can gradually build up her confidence on walks and show her that things aren’t so scary. She may have had bad experiences around traffic as she sometimes barks at passing traffic, so will need to be walked in quiet areas to begin with. In the house, she loves to play with her toys – playing tug is her favourite game! She does have accidents indoors, but with regular access to a garden, and a good routine this will improve. She is very loving and likes to have a fuss and cuddles. Bella hasn’t been socialized around other animals, so needs to be the only pet in the home. This dog was up for sale a few days ago and unfortunately my son and partner are allergic to him, he is the most loving dog I have ever vome across. Greets you at the door with a kiss every time, loves long walks and playing around with anyone he even plays with my toddler. He is very gentle but very stong on his lead so will need a bit more training but knows basic commands. Needs a loving home with a big garden and is brilliant with young kids so is suitable for a family home, I dont know how he gets on with other dogs so would not advise him being a second+ dog.

ALICE NEEDS A ROTTIE EXPERIENCED HOME

ALICE IS CURRENTLY IN A REHOMING CENTRE IN SOUTH YORKSHIRE. Alice is a friendly, 7year old Rottie female. She iS, medium/large in size. Alice is finding kennels stressful and really dislikes going in her indoor kennel so she has started to jump up, mouthe, be quite vocal and grumbly with some staff when trying to put her to bed, otherwise she is very friendly and still full of beans. It's possible she has only lived outdoors and is worried about being put indoors, or maybe it is because she doesn't want to be alone, we just don't know but hopefully in the right home this would not be a problem. Kennels are not easy for most dogs, but some struggle more than others. Alice has never shown any other aggression and the sooner she gets a home the better. She is a typical Rottie and will guard her kennel - especially around other dogs and anyone who knows the breed will understand this as she is a guarding breed after all. She tries to stay clean in her indoor kennel and appears to know commands. It is unknown if Alice will be sociable with other dogs when out of the kennel environment as the kennels do not have the facility to test her.
