This is a Good Old Fashioned simple "no frills" air cooled Diesel engine +manual start and electric start (starter motor recently professionally overhauled) It starts quite easily and runs ok, although a bit smokey at present, it would benefit from the injectors being serviced and perhaps a "Top Overhaul" = easily done by any reasonably skilled mechanic or fitter-my help and advise for such a project is free and I can " talk you through it" if requested It previously powered a roller for maintaining a bowling green etc, there are 2 exhaust threads which need "re-tapping" and fresh studs or bolts again an easy fix, it has a very large oil sump capacity for a small engine 2 gallons which would allow it to run for very long periods of time between services = low maintenance,+ new oil in it now also new fuel filter and fuel tank cleaned out, any more info then please ask at almost any time x 7 days, it is set up in my garden and can be demonstrated prior to purchase, please ask before travelling, free local delivery upto 15 miles radius of Warrington, WA59SL or from Lymm Village, Cheshire, WA139PR Read More

Has the overhead hand start system and the water cooled exhaust facility. Gearbox seems to be seized but as it's a simple mechanical design could be easy to remedy. Goes in and out of gear but can't rotate the shaft. This is reflected in the low price. These engines are extremely robust and long lived and despite being old I believe all parts are still available from specialist suppliers at reasonable cost. Not sure of the power but believe these engines were mainly hp. May be possible to confirm from the engine number. I'm offering free delivery within 50 miles of Southampton and can arrange further at cost if needed. Lister mini twin 12bhp water cooled engine for parts in

Hello there I'm selling a lister water cooled Diesel engine twin cylinder 12bhp.the engine is being sold as a non runner it comes with mounts, gearbox and panel with key. The engine has a set of brand new injectors that will come with it. Like I say it basically selling for parts, the engine has run before and rubs well, I think the injectors have gone hence the reason for the new injectors. It is a wing engine in my boat and I don't need one anymore. Unfortunately I've disconnected the engine so I won't be able to run it up, like I've said that's the reason for selling as parts.
