12hh section A Mare. Paris is a lovely natured pony, she has done local shows and been placed every time. She's mainly been used as a lead rein for my little girl. As she is to forward off the lead. She loves jumping with a confident rider, as off the lead she is more of a second pony. She's good with farrier and dentist. She's had a foal and produced a lovely colt. She was a brilliant mum. She's also pulled a cart in the past. Read more

Meet jlo she is a 13hh skewbald light weight cob. I have owned jlo for the last year and she has been an absolute joy to own. We brought her for my daughter to start learning on but because she has lost all interest and she is being wasted in a field. She is 15 years old but.please don't let that put you off she loves and good gallop and canter and is happy to pop a jump and a lodge. She is perfect in all heavy traffic and tractors. She is a great lead rein pony and has taught my daughter to come.off the lead rein and happy plods along the roads with someone on ground or on horse back but does need a confident rider if being ridden on her own. She doesn't buck rear but just like reassurance from her rider. This is the hardest decision I have ever had to do because I would keep her as a field pet if I could. But she still has so much more to give a young rider or small adult. So please only contact me if you are 100% sure because she won't just go to anyone she will only go to a 10? home. She prefers to live out 27/7 but is happy to be in a stable too. She has brilliant feet so is barefoot never had shoes on. She is up to date with her tetanus and wormer and dentist. She comes to call in the biggest of fields. She has never been sick or sorry. She will come with all her tack and head collars. She is the best friend and I am gutted I have to say this but I know she needs to work as she loves riding and being out Read More

Very special pony called sparky, 13 years old . He is a willing forward going pony. He needs a knowledgeable home where he can progress with a confident little jockey. He isn't the sort of pony who can just be plodding around the school he loves his job and with a good rider he really will work with you. He rides big for height and is a really mover with the right rider. He has done some xc and quite abit of sj he can get a little nervous when jumping sometimes so would benefit with a tidy quite rider. He is NOT a novice ride. 5* home only. Ā£750 no tack Read More

Tony Pony has been in our family for 2 years. During that time he has taken my daughter from the lead rein to attending pony club rallies, local shows and riding in the fields around our farm. However he is not a novice ride and can be cheeky. He needs a confident yet gentle rider to have fun with. He is superb to hack, alone or in company and will go first or last. He loves his jumping but is not so keen on schooling. He has excellent manners on the ground and will stand and be fussed by all ages. He is good to clip, box, catch and shoe and is up to date with his vaccinations. Looking for a caring family home as he loves his work and is being wasted just hacking out at weekends. 13hh Gelding Lead Rein, First or Second Pony

13hh Chestnut Gelding, Registered Welsh Section B. 10 Years old. Dennis was bought as a second pony for my 9 year old son. My son wasn't too confident at that time and needed a pony that would really look after him taking him from Lead Rein to being independent. He has fulfilled his job and has now been outgrown and is ready to show his next little rider the ropes. He has been using for schooling off the lead rein and jumping at home and local shows. We have hacked him on the lead rein and out as a group with other horses. Dennis has been a Safe and Sane pony. He is great to catch, good with the farrier (bare foot only). He is an extremely good doer and lives off Fresh air!. We keep him stabled at night and out during day. Bad Points: Doesn't like the Dentist or the hosepipe! He will become bolshy if presented with either, however a firm adult hand and this is not a problem. We have travelled Dennis a lot to and from lessons and shows. He loads instantly when a lunge line is presented to his rear end! Price is Ā£ to include all tack excluding saddle. His Made to Measure Saddle is available at Ā£. Delivery can be arranged at Ā£1 per mile. Open to Vetting. Read More

Lead Rein / First Ridden/ Second Pony for sale

Lead Rein / First Ridden/ Second Pony for sale

Marvin is an 11h2 12 year old Welsh A pony. He is a lead rein, first ridden (with the limits described below) and suitable second ridden if you want to jump higher/shows We've have owned him now for ten months and was brought as a confidence giver for our daughter after a previous bad buy. Marvin has done just that and given her a whole load of fun.. Our daughter had previously only ridden riding school ponies and her previous green pony and he gave her the opportunity to experience something more responsive and forward so as a first ridden pony for schooling, flat work, hacking and safety he is amazing.. Due to our previous bad buy this advert will be as honest as I can so you know exactly what Marvin offers. His good points are he will school all day long, he loves flat work, dressage, showing (and did in hand showing with his previous owners) he really will just go round and round all day.. His really strong point is out on open ground he is steady as a rock and will stand on a loose rein while others canter away/around but equally will canter round coming to a stop when asked by little hands and legs. On this area he is absolutely priceless.. He will go to shows, PC rallies and he stays the same as he does at home, He did mini camp this summer off lead and behaved just as he always does. He is fine to catch, easy enough to load but does travel better with other ponies, he's never taken more than a minute or two to load on his own.. He can however be very nervous of new people and whilst he's not head shy on tacking up he doesn't like to be groomed near his ears and nose, once he knows you he is much better and this problem becomes less and less.. He is great at gymkhana until the cups and flags come out! He'll weave in and out of poles, he'll let little ones jump down, run with him etc but he will not let you pick up the cup/flag in those types of races. He needs sedation for clipping/teeth - not necessarily a negative as not uncommon but I'd rather people knew. Reason for sale is because whilst i would class him as a first ridden in pretty much all areas - he looks completely to everyone else for confidence when jumping.. Marvin has an amazing jump on him and with a confident rider he would be amazing, he turns fast and jumps large so in the right hands he could be an awesome jumping pony, but our daughter is still learning in this area herself and so their lack of confidence together is counter productive which is why for jumping he really is a second pony only.. As our daughter loves jumping and really wants to progress further in this area we've reached a cross roads with him otherwise he would not be going anywhere. He will jump for little ones in lessons, at home etc but not consistently and at shows when everyone is nervous he won't jump at all off lead unless the rider is confident.. Marvin can be stabled or live out, currently he is out 24/7, he has front shoes no health issues. He would love a home where he does lots of hacking, flat work and pops a few jumps with no pressure. He is up to date with his back, teeth, jabs and comes with his tack and lots of rugs. Home far more important than price - lots of videos, photos on request Read More

An absolutely stunning pony. Loads of character. Bought for my son who unfortunately has absolutely no interest. Great in traffic and out hacking My son isnā€™t interested so I have been riding him but he is too slow for my liking. I have videos available Will only go to an experienced Home as donā€™t want him to be messed around. Came with a bit of a reputation but I think that is handler problem not pony as he has been golden with us but could possibly do with some schooling before he is used for children as he hasnā€™t done much recently. Sold with all tack and rugs. Sold as seen and for a quick sale as I have moved house and itā€™s a 9 mile trip from my house each way to do him. Ā£600 Read more

Lovely bay gelding 12 years old. Great to handle on the ground, in the stable, grooming, tacking up, with farrier (currently is bare foot, has been shoed in the past), Can live in or out.Great on lead rein with any rider. He can be stubborn at times in the school off the lead rein so would need a competent rider hence second pony. He is good at hacking out. I was told he has done gymkhana and pony club in previous homes. He is prone to get sweet itch so this needs to be managed in the summer with fly rug. Difficult, sad sale and only for sale due to lack of time/jockey. He is being wasted in the field. 5* home knowledgeable wanted for this lovely pony. Tack available Read More
