Three mahogany late Victorian / Edwardian dining chairs. The chairs are in good condition throughout. The backs are extensively carved, and the front legs are turned and taper to the foot. LATE VICTORIAN SOLID MAHOGANY TELESCOPIC DINING TABLE c. , This table is 103 cm (40.5”) wide and 107 cm (42”) Long and can be extended to 148 cm (”) with the extra leaf is inserted. The bulbous turned supports (legs) are exactly at each corner where no one sits solving the problem of leg room most efficiently.It has been in daily use by my family at least for all of the 20th century and maybe from new. We use it every day but intend replacing it with a more modern table. It is in need of some restoration to return it to pristine condition. Here I have four antique Victorian, original chairs. They have been used in our farmhouse. One chair has been broken at some point in its life, has a glued leg and two angle brackets under the seat, see (photo). This chair is rickety and if not being used for show will need some attention. The other three are solid. These are used chairs and the seats on two are starting to fray (see photo). Otherwise, considering their age they are in pretty good condition. Odd marks, but no deep scratches or dents. These are as seen in the photo's I have not polished them up for sale or anything. They are what they are, many thanks for looking. Elegant set of 4 late Victorian balloon back mahogany dining chairs. Recently reupholstered in heavy weight cotton. Immaculately clean. Some scratches on one and a repaired crack on another.
