Mid Century Large Glass Light Fitting

Genuine s/60s large glass light fitting. It was in use until last year at my father-in-laws house, I cleaned forty years of dust and nicotine off it, polished the brass up and hey presto it's ready to give another half century of use. There are three components to the fitting; the central white glass orb which is 24 cm deep, the orange glass disc 55 cm wide, and the brass cup and rod from which it hangs 54 cm long. There is a metal plate which simply tucks inside the white glass globe this is then covered by a convex brass disc which is secured with a grub screw. The light was hung high up in the centre of the room and part of the brass rod was recessed through the ceiling into the roof space but I think this light is best appreciated when it can be seen from different angles - perhaps in a stairwell ?.
