Never been gigged and used for home practice and driven to a practice studio. Still works perfectly. Knobs a little crackly only when turning, but a little spray will sort them out. You may want to change valves if you want a brighter cleaner sound, or leave as they are for that traditional 'burnt in' sound. Laney 15 Watt all valve Guitar Amp for Sale. Footswitch included (the amp doesn't come with one new). This amp sounds fantastic, 2 channels (clean and driven). The amp is based loosely on a Vox AC15 sound, think classic British tone. The bright switch also allows you to get some nice sparkly cleans. The driven sound can get quite distorted (say ACDC level) and even get into fairly high gain territory with an overdrive pedal. I bought this amp to use at home and in the studio as it's a little smaller with a lower power outage. Perfect for home use and good tone without complaints from neighbours I've also used it for rehearsals and even the odd gig with a mic in front of it.
