The amp is based loosely on a Vox AC15 sound, think classic British tone. The bright switch also allows you to get some nice sparkly cleans. The driven sound can get quite distorted (say ACDC level) and even get into fairly high gain territory with an overdrive pedal. I bought this amp to use at home and in the studio as it's a little smaller with a lower power outage. Perfect for home use and good tone without complaints from neighbours I've also used it for rehearsals and even the odd gig with a mic in front of it. Laney VC30 1x12 (with extras)

Very nice clean VC30, no marks/scuffs/tears and in perfect working order. Upgraded with new Celestion speaker, low speed quiet cooling fan fitted (this amp does not get hot like other small combos) and additional 'Presence' control (on rear panel) to adjust output section tone. Also comes with brand new thick 'padded' (not cheap plastic) cover for added protection. Original speaker available with the amp in case you want to revert (I wouldn't but you might). This is one of the best examples of a VC30 out there. This combo is perfect for anyone practicing/gigging who needs convenient size gear to go in a car boot or back seat. Very loud and easily gets over a loud drummer (I have personal experience!) but you can scale down the volume using 'effects loop volume' as a 'Master' for home/smaller gig. Real valve and Class A (similar to an AC30). I don't gig anymore, so just wasted sitting around unused. Collection please, you are welcome to try it out.
