The amp is based loosely on a Vox AC15 sound, think classic British tone. The bright switch also allows you to get some nice sparkly cleans. The driven sound can get quite distorted (say ACDC level) and even get into fairly high gain territory with an overdrive pedal. I bought this amp to use at home and in the studio as it's a little smaller with a lower power outage. Perfect for home use and good tone without complaints from neighbours I've also used it for rehearsals and even the odd gig with a mic in front of it.
