If you're in with surreptitious advertising "the youth" wanted to achieve was the strip the medium. So Martin Lodewijk, Uco Egmond, Peter de Smet and Henk Kuijpers each signed a 10-page story "against smoking". Bundled that became the book "STRIPS", in fact issued by the Foundation for public health and smoking and sponsored by spijkerbroek manufacturer Levi's.
