For this screen printing ikeind had to to a bare building site at the zuidas, there stood the just completed largest building in Amsterdam, the Arena, and a brand new editor-Tower (design Cees Dam) which the illustrated Press had just built for all editors who with their content the presses had to keep turning, Further satisfied was still there.To the empty cluttered decor to bring back to the essence I chose a mirror. There crosses the users of the square each other: the Ajax supporters on the way to the Arena, the newsrooms in procession on their way to new year's reception and the omnipresent property developers with their builders.
