The nineteenth century Kazakh were knotted entirely in wool, they were carpets with long and shiny fabrics, and with large coloured designs of geometric type varying according to the production area. During the 20th century, the beauty of colours and original and fanciful drawings, always made from memory by women who passed them from mother to daughter, were rediscovered over the centuries thus transmitting this great tradition. This is how the Caucasian carpets began to be appreciated and became always more sought-after by amateurs and collectors until reaching remarkable quotations and to conquer a position of first order in the panorama of the oriental carpets.Manufacture: Knotted by hand.
