Hofner Verithin Guitar in stunning condition. As far as I can see it is all original apart from the tremolo arm and pickup wiring. The tremolo arm is a replica of the original but relatively new. I had the pickups rewired because the original pots had seized up. I still have the original pots and wiring however. Includes an original "tweed" case. Hofner Violin Cavern Reissue Bass German Manufacture

Hofner '61 Reissue Violin Bass 'Cavern' Edition & Case The bass is in excellent cosmetic and functional condition and is an accurate reissue of the first of Macca's Violin basses. This one has the pickups mounted closer together and a flat back with the early Hofner logo. The bass has a lovely neck with an easy action along its short scale. The frets are in excellent condition and everything is original. The bass has some small blemishes to the lacquer and dings on the sides and headstock as it's been gigged. Nothing structural and the trussrod turns as it ought to. Hardware has some slight tarnishing to the metalwork as pictured. It comes with the original case although two of the catches are damaged it is still functional. UK sale only no trades please. These retail at over £! A German made bass for the price of a contemporary. Bag an Easter bargain. Pickup preferred with cash but I will post UPS at buyers cost. Only selling as I have two. Here we have for sale is a superb Hofner German Violin Bass which as you can see is a lovely example which also comes with a fitted hard case its not the original case but works perfectly fine, the overall condition is very good throughout with only a couple of small age related marks but nothing major. Its all original with no mods or repairs just a great example which plays and sounds fantastic. All the hardware and frets are in very good condition with little wear, the neck is nice and straight with a superb low action, it has just been restrung and set up with Ernie Ball strings. "Ladies" 7/8 size Cello. Franz Sandner Nauheim German Lovely small cello, back length 727mm, 7/8 size Suitable for student grades 5-8, and for amateur orchestral playing. I bought it in December from Bonhams Fine Musical Instrument Auctions, Knightsbridge, London (no longer trading in Musical Instruments). It was valued in January for £ by Amati Musical Instrument Auctioneers. It is in good condition. It has a few scratches and scrapes, the most significant being a crack on the lower bout, which was looked at by a professional luthier. Her opinion was that it was a stable crack, and was not in danger of affecting the tone, or likely to case weakness in any way. It is fitted with metal strings, I haven't changed them since purchase, so I don't know which brand. I am selling because I bought this as my 2nd instrument, but I haven't really needed a 2nd instrument for a few years now, so it hasn't been played much. This is a set of new, old stock German made 1/2 size pegs for cello. The pegs are very effectively ebonised to look like ebony. this means that when they are being fitted to a cello they will probably need to be restained, depending how much adjusting they need. These pegs are perfect for a maker/restorer to fit to a student quality or in fact any cello, where the pegs are worn out or broken. They are also a fraction of the cost of solid ebony pegs.
