Very rare imperial German water flask made from a gourd mounted with an imperial German officer's helmet plate - Baverian regiment - Baverian arms on oval plaque surmounted by a crown, with lion supporters and the motto below of " In Treue Fest ". Very probably a battle trophy brought back from the East African Campaign - - by a member of the 1st (Hull) Heavy Battery Royal Garrison Artillery who fought in the East Africa Campaign . German WWI S Bayonet & Scabbard - Rare Maker Original era manufacture and corresponding scabbard. A clean, honest example with a makers proof on the ricasso. Very nice original wood grips, nice patina to the guard and pommel. Original scabbard, one tiny dent (see pic) with a nice patina. It is an interesting bayonet from a rare maker: "Eisengiesserei und Schlossfabrik A-G. Velbert". All original and in good working order.
