Gerry has been with us since last October, he's showing a lot of talent in jumping (has jumped up to 1m) and has nice and steady paces. He's been to two local riding club shows earlier this month and behaved impeccably and enjoyed himself very much. On the ground he is a very friendly and sweet horse who loves attention and a fuss. Sadly since he's been to the shows his behaviour has become quite bad, he is challenging authority and has reared twice now when being led (with a week of good behaviour in between). We're not sure where this is coming from, he's always been head strong but never reared. He's also become difficult to load. As this is more than we can handle we're now looking for a good and knowledgeable home that has the time and experience to further educate and train him. I am selling my horse due to having an operation on my hand and not being able to ride him anymore. He evented over the last two years with a very good, experienced rider at 90 and 100. He was placed on several occasions. He loves being in work and is missing being ridden. Sadly due to my hand he is turned away in a field as I have no-one to ride him now as my friend moved back to Finland. Once in work he is worth much more but I am seeing if there is interest before I send him away to be worked and then sold for more. Snaffle Mouthed 16h Light Bay TB Gelding (13 yrs.). Mac is the easiest, quietest and sweetest little horse on the yard who jumps for fun, foot perfect over the biggest of fences and equally works nicely on the flat. He hacks out alone or in company, will ride and lead and leads a lead rein pony and little rider on the road, down tracks and across fields and is impeccably behaved. Mac is good to load (lorry/trailer), travel, shoe, clip, bath and will stand on the yard untied and not move until told. Mac is naturally forward going so requires a competent and confident jockey who will give him encouragement when he’s a little unsure with things he’s not seen or done before. He is regularly ridden by a 14-year-old PC girl who he works nicely for in the school on the flat, over fences, grid work, clear round SJ and has taken him schooling over XC fences at UK chasers. She even called upon him at last minute to stand in for his stable mate at Pony Camp which he embraced. Mac enjoys lessons and working in and around other horses in the school maintaining focus. He is part of a mixed herd when out but does enjoy his own company and is always the first to want to come in. 16.1hh TB chestnut gelding 7yo

Lovely calm TB gelding. Over the past 6 weeks or so he has been worked and has come on so much! Last time I advertised him he wasn't doing much at all. He's a sweet natured boy who is a dream to handle on the end of a rope! Easy to catch, shoe, load travel etc. He has had time off last summer for his feet to recover and they are now perfect! He also had ulcer treatment and is in perfect health. His only problem is he can be a bit riggy with the mares! He needs to be in an all gelding field/yard. Separate fields would work, and tbh rig calm did help when I put him on it before. This riggy behaviour means he can nap if taken out alone, fine in company. And if I take my mare away from him he gets upset. With my mare out of the equation he was a lamb. He's been doing a little bit of jumping and some schooling and has come on so much in 6 weeks. Nothing bothers him otherwise, great In Traffic etc. Ridden by an 10 year old and a 13 year old. I can't separate them as we have mixed fields so I can't make it work. Comes with all tack and rugs. Honest advert for much loved horse

Ronnie is a 10 year old thoroughbred gelding, he raced in Ireland. He is looking for a home that doesn't want to jump, someone that wants to hack/dressage/endurance/show. The good bits: - Kind and loving, loves attention, being groomed, etc. - Has been good in all traffic. - He used to school beautifully, however he is currently out of work so this will take time. - He has been schooled by a 13 year old and he was a good boy. - He has never had a days lameness in the year that I have owned him, and with the previous owner. - Easiest horse ever to clip, has to be solo combed for his mane. The not so good bits - He has a tendency to nap, more so on his own. As far as nappers go he really isn't that bad, I have never not been able to get him past something and he always gives up pretty quickly with a kick/smack on the shoulder. - He spins when he naps, however it has always been really slow, never bad enough to unseat anyone. - He can act cold backed, however it has only been recently and I think it's my saddle. - He has had an excited buck before, however they are tiny! - He can be strong when galloping. - He can be protective over his food with other horses, always fine with people. - He is absolutely awful at jumping! Please no jumping homes, this will be written into a contract. He is not nasty, he just has absolutely no respect for the fence. I have trie so many times and he has put both of us in danger on so many occasions due to his mentality whilst jumping. I have tried for a year and have had no luck so please, you won't change him, this is how he is and it's not something that will improve. Hence why he will not go to that type of home. - He has slight anxiety problems and can not be left on his own in a field, stable is fine however he will box walk. - He is an absolute pig to load, lorry or trailer, however he travels okay. - Can be a bit ear shy, always been able to get a headcollar and bridle on though. - Does tend to loose a bit of condition in the winter but easy to maintain with feed, lives off air in the summer. Absolutely no novices, if you give an inch he will take a mile. No inexperienced homes, this is not first horse material. Absolutely no one that has any desire to jump. No dealers, homes will be thoroughly vetted. There will be a contract in place which I am happy to discuss further. He is sold from the field and is un fit, I will require videos of your riding. I paid £ for him a year ago, although I am very aware I am not going to get close to this I will not be accepting stupid offers as I don't want him being sold on. I don't want this horse passed from pillar to post, any problems and I will have him back straight away. Please no timewasters this is a hard sale as he is a tricky horse however he has so much to give the right person.
