The Neck is straight,the frets are worn in but not worn out. The fretboard is in good condition with a low action. A Vintage, Hofner,Pickup,Volume and Tone controls have been added. As new- Hofner bass - This is the Stu Sutcliffe Tribute version with close spaced original Hofner 'Black Bar' pick-ups.- It is a lovely bass that I bought new, but I just do not play. I wanted to practice watching telly, but it is just too nice to use so casually. You can play it acoustically but of course it is at its best plugged in with the classic Hofner sound!
