This is a beautiful 8 day longcase clock in very good condition. The movement has been stripped/cleaned and oiled. It has also had new lines fitted and it is in perfect working order couting the hours on a bell. The date aperture is also working. The silvered dial is beautifully engraved and inscribed with the makers name "John Peat" from Crieff, who is listed in Clockmaker's of the world as working in Crieff (Scotland) from to .
