Grange France Large Oval Dining Table and 6 chairs Made in France - cost £ + when new Exceptional quality - seats 6, 8 or 10 comfortably This exceptionally high quality dining set is made by Grange Furniture, an influential name in cabinet making, both in France and abroad. Purchased from Fenwicks, Newcastle, the set is part of the Directoire collection. There is also a matching large Sideboard available. The table seats 6 people and has an expanding centre section which is stored underneath the table and when opened fully, enables 10 people to sit comfortably. The extending section comprises 2 folding leaves, each being 42cm wide. The set is made from solid cherrywood and features Grange's signature French hand painted finish in antique cream with exposed cherrywood edges and detailing. The table and chairs cost £ plus when bought new and single chairs currently retail at £ each. The 4 slender legs with carved features are capped with aged metal feet. The matching chairs have padded seats and back rests covered in cream fabric. Overall the suite is in excellent condition save for a couple of marks on some of the seat pads.
