FOR SALE A BEAUTIFUL, LARGE AND SUBSTANTIAL FRENCH BRASS CARRIAGE CLOCK, CIRCA , AND IS BELIEVED TO BE MADE BY HENRI JACOT. THIS 8-DAY CLOCK STRIKES ON THE HALF AND HOUR VIA A GENTLE BUT DISTICTIVE SOUND. IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION ALL AROUND WITH NO DAMAGE OR RESTORATION. THE MOVEMENT WORKS FINE AND THE CLOCK KEEPS GOOD TIME. THERE IS A LITTLE STIFFNESS ON THE WIND BUT A GOOD CLEAN / SERVICE SHOULD SORT THIS OUT. THIS CLOCK WHICH COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL KEY, HAS BEEN IN MY FAMILY FOR MANY YEARS AND IS CONSIDERED AN HEIRLOOM. THE CLOCK DOES NOT HAVE ANY MANUFACTURES MARKINGS BUT THIS IS NOT UNUSUAL FOR IMPORTED CLOCKS OF THIS PERIOD. I HAVE A REPORT AND RECEIPT FOR THE WORK DONE ON THE RESTORATION, THE REPORT ON THE CLOCK CALLS IT A BLACK BELGIAN MARBLE CASED FRENCH STRIKING CLOCK CIRCA ..UNDERGONE SA COMPLETE RESTORATION IT IS IN FULL WORKING ORDER AND IN VERY VERY GOOD ORDER.. THERE ARE PHOTO'S WITH THE CLOCK SHOWING IT HAD A COMPLETE STRIP DOWN AT THIS TIME. IT HAS TAKEN A LITTLE PATIENCE BUT I HAVE SET THE CLOCK UP AND CAN REPORT THE CHIME ETC WORKS AS IT SHOULD STRIKES ON THE HOUR THE HOUR SO 3 STRIKES IF IT,S 3 O CLOCK AND SO ON AND ONCE EVERY HALF HOUR, ALSO IT KEEPS VERY GOOD TIME, THIS WAS NOT THE CASE WHEN FIRST SET IT UP BUT WITH PATIENCE IT KEEPS GOOD TIME THE CLOCK IS VERY HEAVY, SO I'M SWAPPING OR SELLING ON A MEET ONLY BASIS FROM MINE TO WHERE EVER WE MEET HALF WAY. ANTIQUE FRENCH VERNI BRONZE MINIATURE CARRIAGE CLOCK WORKING

This is a wonderful working French miniature carriage clock with Verni Bronze inscribed to the base with the original movement present in the case. The case is in a lovely clean condition, as is the face of the clock. The clock winds up easily with the winder and the movement / time can be set using the centre turner but is a little fiddly, as you would expect with a miniature. There’s a tiny piece of glass missing from one corner but otherwise in great condition for the age of the clock. Vintage / Antique Striking Bracket Clock This mahogany (?) bracket clock came from a cottage in Pontllyfni, near Caernarfon and certainly dates from the turn of the 19th/20th century. The movement has a Patent Mark from the 's. I cannot find a full makers name but there's an "S" and "T" in Old English Script on the clock face. Baby Carriage rocking horse’s are definitely an old time favourite, renowned for their elegant necks and tucked in head. Ezra is a lovely example. He has undergone full restoration, and has been professionally restored, including stand. His paintwork has been carried out in a subtle, light dapple grey. Darker grey to emphasize his features and lines. Mane and tail set are in a lovely gentle grey / blond horse hair. His saddlery comprises of, Havana leather bridle with fulmer bit, Havana martingale dock and crupper, Havana saddle flaps and two-tone havana seat. Finished off with a deep burgundy saddle cloth, with antique stud embellishment.
