A beautiful sculpture of a young lady with mandolin.The lady, dressed in draped clothes, is standing under a tree which makes for a graceful scene.The sculpture is made with an eye for detail by the French sculptor Émile Bruchon (). It is titled 'Mignon' that possibly refers to the eponymous opera by Ambroise Thomas (). Origin: France, late 19th century.Details: Height: 60 cm. Width: 17 cm Depth: 17 cm Weight: 6.2 KG. Material: zamak.It is signed 'Bruchon' and carries a plaque with the text: ‘Mignon - Par Bruchon’.
