Only minor wear to the patina.Alexandre-Mathurin Peche was a French painter and sculptor.He was a student of Aimé Millet, Augustin-Jean Moreau-Vauthier, Gautier and Thomas at the school of fine arts in Paris. In , he led the art work of the bronze foundry in Auray. Afterwards, he worked in Paris in , including for the world exhibition at the palais du Génie Civil. He became a member of the French Association of artists in .
