The small bust "Zeus or Neptune" was the subject, only a conservative restoration. The head was relocated above her bust, certainly with pin and malta, no fillings. The sculpture was crafted archaeologically, the preparation with recesses of the left shoulder is beautiful together with the semi-ancient tears. However, overall the artefact is in a fairly good state of preservation, in its original patina, crafted in a fine Italian statuary, held up by an original metal linchpin, on a Levanto red base.
