Pair of vintage hunting boots for autumn  hunting or the show ring. They have been hand made no maker but quality boots lovely soft leather they have been kept with support in them,leather soles and heels slight wear to sole and the only other damage is to the seam on the back of one boot about a inch  has come apart  a little stitch would soon put it right    ,they have pulls inside to put them on with.. The measurements are 8 and half in foot,length of boots from heal to top is 18 inches 12 half around ankle and calf is 14 and half inches. I have a black pair exactly the same size.

Here is a ring box modelled in the form of a coal scuttle with the handle on the top. The front is decorated with the Reynold's Angels scene, five winged cherub or putti figures. The slanted front opens to reveal a single slot for a ring, the inside is lined in light grey-blue silk. The box is fully hallmarked on the back with the makers mark,design registration number, lion mark for sterling, anchor for Birmingham,and the letter for the year , it is also marked on the inside of the lip with the lion and date letter. The inside of the drop down lid retains its original gilding. The box measures " wide by 1-3/8" deep by 1-3/8" to the top of the handle. These and the others I am listing were found in the attic of a very old house I lived in, but I have just moved and don't want to store them any more, they would be good in a museum or for someone learning fashion or tailoring. They have been expertly made  and there is so much hand stitching it must have taken ages to make them and a lot of money to have them made. The material is like a thick wool, and the  inner leg gusset is suede. There are some moth holes, but they are very old, so you must take that into account before bidding. The waist measures 40" all the way round when fastened. From waist to the bottom of the leg measures 37". All the buttons are complete.  They are very heavy and weigh 949grams without packaging, so very heavy. A lovely tactile conker / chestnut coloured saddle, name plate missing off rear of saddle, has some nice repairs / distressing. Have added a few ideas in the photos, could be converted to a desk seat, perhaps footstool or shop window prop / decoration Have tried to take pictures in all lighting as our room is quite dark, flash has been used in some pictures, would say the leather looks the tones of conker. For its age it's in great condition. I would say this is a full bridle. The other leathers with it I'm not sure if it's to do with driving or showing.
