Here up for auction I have a vintage / antique driving harness bridle & leathers. It has a very unique driving bit on it I have researched it but can't find the make of it. For its age it's in great condition. I would say this is a full bridle. The other leathers with it I'm not sure if it's to do with driving or showing. On one of the leathers it was about 6 small brass buttons missing can be seen in photo. As this is a auction this is UK post only Happy bidding

A vintage brown leather pony driving harness collar with brass metal. It appears to be in good condition but with some marks due to use/age. The small bit of leather with is sewn over the top is unstitched at one side. Internal measurements - height 18" - width at widest point 8". Can either be used or would make lovely display item. this is a webbing harness with brass buckles and rings. it is labelled as Shetland size but I would say small pony. (used on 11hh Dartmoor) it has been professionally repaired on the blinkers a little stitching on top of the  roller.  happy for it to be collected.

And the brest collars made 3 inches deep (not 2 inches)this does make it more comfortable for the horse. I have used this type of harness for many years and can recommend it. This is a complete set. I am selling my harness as decided i prefer to ride than drive. It is a synthetic/ webbing harness complete. The harness is full size with brass buckles etc but the bridle is full size with silver buckles i think its newer than the harness. There is some wear to harness but has life left in it. Good starter harness.

Used pony harness and bridle set.   I don't know much about driving harnesses but I am pretty sure everything is included here. It is a leather set that has been well used and some parts are in better condition than others, for example the bridle part is in quite good condition however some of the fastening straps on the harness part are badly scratched. This does not effect the use and I can't see any broken bits on it.   Starting this at 99p with no reserve so grab a bargain! Liverpool driving bit also for sale in my other items. Kitten not included, but wouldn't get out of the photos!:)
