This is a lovely little saddle which has been used on our 13.2 pony. It kept our young jockeys securely in place as for many years, for a various disciplines including dressage, jumping, hunting and lots of hacking. The Walsall stamp can just be made out, I believe the saddler was Don Burnell. There is no damage to the leather and all stitching is intact.  The saddle has been regularly cleaned and kept indoors. It measures 8.5 inches from d to d. Comes complete with a pair of 4 inch stirrup irons with white tread, and 54 inch stirrup leathers which are old but still have plenty of wear in them.  Jeffries stamp is just visible on them.   18" quality brown English leather GP saddle. 'Huntsman' - Made by F E Towe, Walsall. Says N (narrow) on tree but more like narrow/medium fit really 9" D-D centres, 4" between padding below pommel, cut back wither. Just been re-flocked and thoroughly checked June so all padding is even and stitching is good. Soft and supple leather. 4 new girth straps. This is a really nice comfortable saddle which has no serious damage just the normal small scuffs and marks you would expect from a used saddle. There is a small circular stain on the seat but hardly worth mentioning. Not overly large or heavy for an 18" Can be borrowed and tried if you are local. Returns accepted but buyer pays return carrier postage.

I am reluctantly selling my saddle as it does not fit our young pony anymore. It is 3 years old and I have had it from new. Size 16.5 M/W It is in very good condition and has general scuffs that will buff out with cleaning and the usual wear marks from the stirrup leathers. There is a nick in the pommel area please see pic 12 which doesn't effect the saddle in anyway and hardly noticeable. It is very comfortable and you feel very secure in the seat and knee areas due to the nubuck. It is flocked and the panel is even with a lovely wide gullet. There are 3 independent girth straps, the first being a point strap. Please feel free to ask any questions. It will be delivered well packaged by courier within 5 days of payment being received alternatively it can be picked up cash on collection.

You can see it has dropped panels to accommodate the wither area. It is in very good condition and has general scuffs that will buff out with cleaning. It is very comfortable and you feel very secure in the seat and knee areas due to the nubuck. It is flocked with white wool and the panel is even with a lovely wide gullet. Please take an extra note of the terms at the bottom as there very strict and if you do not wish to stick to them PLEASE do NOT buy.   Right in this listing:   English leather 17- inch brown Endurance /GP saddle+ FREE GIRTH   In lovely condition for a older saddle, its been well looked after, no damage, 100% sound. Nice deep seat & good nice knee blocks for extra support. 2 d-rings each side at the back for attaching saddle bags. Nice wide panels make it comfortable for the horse by spreading the riders weight more evenly, which is even more important on long rides.   Measures approx 7-1/2 inches d-ring to d-ring I would say approx. a medium fit but see photos and decide for yourself. My friend had it fitted to her Arab.   Although no maker’s plate, it is a well made saddle with nice quality English leather. It does have a serial number stamped under the flap, which I have shown in the photos.   Shows normal signs of use (such as small marks/some rubbing etc) as you’d expect from any used saddle, and has a couple of water stains on the back panel (shown in photos) and some fading to the leather mainly on the seat again shown in photos.   Girth straps are used but plenty of wear left and I would still consider them in good condition.   Really comfy saddle, bargain for an endurance saddle!   Free girth included (very basic GP girth, still useable tho)   PLEASE VIEW photos ALL cosmetics are shown   Bargain price.   AGAIN please ONLY bid if you agree to all terms in listing description ONLY! Nice deep seat with good size knee blocks offers the jockey lots of support.   Measures approx 8-1/2 inches d-ring to d-ring I would say although its stamped medium that it’s a medium to medium-wide fit but you can decide for yourself.   Lovely quality English leather. Girth straps are in very good condition.   Shows normal signs of use as you’d expect from a used saddle such as some rubbing where stirrup leathers have been/small marks, some slight fading to the leather where riders leg has been.
