I am reluctantly selling my retired mares saddle as it does not fit my other horses. It was made to measure for my 15.2hh TB who is high withered and narrow. You can see it has dropped panels to accommodate the wither area. It is in very good condition and has general scuffs that will buff out with cleaning. It is very comfortable and you feel very secure in the seat and knee areas due to the nubuck. It is flocked with white wool and the panel is even with a lovely wide gullet. There are 3 independent girth straps, the first being a point strap which I never needed to use as it fitted her so well. I think it would suit a horse with similar conformation. Size 16.5 M/W It is in very good condition and has general scuffs that will buff out with cleaning and the usual wear marks from the stirrup leathers. There is a nick in the pommel area please see pic 12 which doesn't effect the saddle in anyway and hardly noticeable. Brought last year for my youngster who has now outgrown this saddle. This Symonds 17.5 medium width is very comfortable and although used is in excellent condition as can be seen from the photos. The padded knee rolls help to provide extra comfort and grip and I have not need to have the flocking done as it is still pliable and sits well on the horse. My youngster is a 16.3hh sports horse if that helps to gage what the saddle has been used on but as I said he is now in wide saddles.

Lovely leather gp   No brand name but good english leather " width Been in storage but brand new tried on once to test below fault DOES HAVE A BROKEN STIRRUP BAR CLIP - the little clip at the end on the stirrup bar has snapped off. The saddlery wanted silly money to repair it. Doesnt make a difference to the saddle unless you actually use the clip for safety - i dont use it with my saddle. But its worth mentioning just incase anyone needed it.
