Description: Ulcer-Soothe is made up of 7 carefully selected ingredients to address the issues associated with ulcers in horses. Ulcer-Soothe provides a light and soothing protective mucous layer to support ulcer relief and reduce gastric stress to the stomach lining. It does not inhibit natural acid secretion production which is important for healthy digestion. Ulcer-Soothe suits horses frequently stabled, subject to routine changes and/or to stress. Ulcer-Soothe can be fed long-term to horses at a maintenance level. Ulcer-Soothe is also aimed at horses that have completed a course of treatment for ulcers in order to promote the re-establishment of a healthy gut and to prevent the re-occurence of ulcers.  Ulcer-Soothe contains  Aloe Vera, a mucilaginous and demulcent (soothing agent) with properties of lowering bowel transit time, absorbing toxins in the bowel, regulating colonic bacteria, and soothing and protecting the digestive tract. Seabuckthorn has an amazing profile including reducing oxidative stress believed to initiate and aggravate stress ulcers. It contains serotonin, a neurotransmitter that helps to regulate emotions. Never freeze the cold water boots. Using the Cold Water Boots for injury - The cold water boots should be applied at least 6-7 times a day and be on the horses leg no longer than 20 minutes. Storage of the Cold Water Boots - If competing or using for injury over a couple of days the boots can be stored in the bucket of water. Once finished with the boots, they need to be hung up to dry, out of direct sunlight. Once dry they can be stored away. When getting the boots back out to use, re soak them for 2 hours to reactivate.
