This product is available for free / personal delivery within 15 miles of Yeovil Somerset by Mobile Equine Supplies, a new service aiming to bring your equine needs to your stables / yard or home with a friendly, "no pressure" approach. Description: Ulcer-Soothe is made up of 7 carefully selected ingredients to address the issues associated with ulcers in horses. Ulcer-Soothe provides a light and soothing protective mucous layer to support ulcer relief and reduce gastric stress to the stomach lining. It does not inhibit natural acid secretion production which is important for healthy digestion. Ulcer-Soothe suits horses frequently stabled, subject to routine changes and/or to stress. Ulcer-Soothe can be fed long-term to horses at a maintenance level. Ulcer-Soothe is also aimed at horses that have completed a course of treatment for ulcers in order to promote the re-establishment of a healthy gut and to prevent the re-occurence of ulcers.  Ulcer-Soothe contains  Aloe Vera, a mucilaginous and demulcent (soothing agent) with properties of lowering bowel transit time, absorbing toxins in the bowel, regulating colonic bacteria, and soothing and protecting the digestive tract. Seabuckthorn has an amazing profile including reducing oxidative stress believed to initiate and aggravate stress ulcers. It contains serotonin, a neurotransmitter that helps to regulate emotions. Liquorice extract has anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic and anti-ulcer properties. Liquorice contains therapeutic pigments known as flavanoids which can lower gastric secretions. Slippery Elm is often combined with Aloe juice for best results. It is a mucilaginous herb with similar properties to Aloe but also helps regulate bacteria in the intestine. Oatseed helps restore the nervous system and combat stress, which can cause ulcers. Fennel aids appetite and digestion and helps relax cramping in stomach. Peppermint helps reduce gassy build-ups which are common during stress. Directions for use: Ulcer-Soothe should be used in conjunction with appropriate overall management, e.g high fibre diet; smaller, more frequent feeds; not exercising on an empty stomach etc. Shake well. Add 25ml twice daily initially. Add 15ml twice daily for a maintenance level. 1 litre should therefore last over a month when on maintenance dose making this an extremely cost effective remedy which is highly palatable and easy to use.

More information below about how Dodson & Horrell Vitalise works. Dodson and Horrell Vitalise is primarily a high specification liquid B vitamin and iron supplement designed to act as a pick-me-up that is of particular benefit to performance horses and horses with poor appetites.
