Brand new pair of Equine Fusion Performance hoof boots size 15. Bought to support my barefoot horse on longer rides but sadly he has had to be retired before they could be used. The Equine Fusion Performance 'Jogging Shoe' is the latest offering on the hoof boot market from Equine Fusion of Norway and sits alongside the original product, the Ultra, in their range. The Performance, with a new sole pattern, is designed for rougher terrain, providing better grip off-road and in snow or mud, whereas the Ultra  is particularly suited to riding on hard surfaces such as asphalt. Jogging Shoes are virtually unique amongst hoof boots in that they offer performance as close as possible to the equine hoof, allowing movement on a three-way axis. They are extremely flexible unlike some hoof boots which have a rigid and  thick sole separating the hoof from the ground. Jogging Shoes conform to the ground and to the hoof. This flexibility aids the natural hoof mechanism enabling the horse to feel  the ground and achieve frog pressure.
