Fantastic bit only for sale due to loss of pony Description copied from neue Schule website Although single jointed, the NS Demi Anky is ergonomically designed to eradicate the nutcracker action and subsequent problems that the traditional straight-armed single jointed snaffle can cause. The cleverly curved mouthpiece eliminates upper palate interference and it also prevents it from lying too far forwards in the mouth causing pressure on the thinner more sensitive part of the tongue. It sweeps slightly away from the corner of the lip to lessen any chance of rubbing and the curvature down towards the bars achieves a gentle even weight bearing surface across the bars. When a contact is taken the mouthpiece forms a channel for the tongue giving relief over the thinner more sensitive outer edges. We find this design is very beneficial for horses that back off or only offer an intermittent contact or for the very rare occasion when a horse does not find a lozenge comfortable Any questions please message me:)

Ideal for directional control. Helps set them up for arrowheads etc. Usually employed with one rein fixed on the centre or bottom ring. May also be used with Pelham roundings between the central and bottom rings, a curb strap is optional. A favourite with the show jumpers and eventers. As the Waterford bends in every direction it usually suits all types of mouth conformation, including big, fat tongues. Neue Schule Tranz Angled Lozenge - Used a coue of times but turned out to be too big for my horse. I have 2 of the same for sale. Around £80 from new. If your horse is tentative into the contact (inconsistent), the NS Eggbutt offers the stability within the mouth needed to boost the horse's confidence causing it to seek the bit taking the rein forwards. Very beneficial for short tense necks. Also excellent for directional control. Unlike traditional eggbutts, feel and response is not lost i.e. the horse will not fix against the hand.

5.5 tranz lozenge hanging cheek bit, these bits are fantastic when encouraging horses into an outline if they have tendencies to poke their nose. Cannot recommend this bit enough. Excellent used conditions.
