This saddle is in perfect condition, I have had it for the last 3 years and am really loathe to be selling it, but I have sold the horse and it won't fit my other TBs as they are all narrow!  It is by Ideal and is the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden in, it has a nice deep seat to it which keep you well in place.  It measures approx 18" seat and 9" from D to D, medium/wide.  Collection available if you want to.

Black leather KES general purpose saddle for sale. In excellent condition, with only a few minor marks that can be seen in the pictures. This saddle was made in Stirling, specifically for my old horse who was a 15.1hh part bred Irish Cob x ISH and is sadly for sale after losing him at only 6 years old to laminitis. This saddle has so many amazing memories attached to it even after only three short years, and though I may get back into horses in the future, it won't be any time soon so would love that someone else got use out of it and built their own memories using it.  It's an extremely comfy saddle to ride with and can easily be re-flocked to suit another horse.  16" seat from stud to centre cantle.  9" from D band to D band.  13" in length from stirrup bar to bottom of saddle (side) flap. Fourth saddle strap (or a "fat pony strap") for extra security on wider horses and ponies. This lovely comfortable saddle has been kept as new - cleaned after every outing and stored indoors. Regularly checked and re-flocked as necessary. It's only flaw is a slight split right at the end of one of the girth straps (see photograph) but this does not affect the functionality of the strap at all. I have a small piece of duct tape around it to prevent it splitting further and so that I can easily thread it through the girth buckle without further damaging it. The other two straps are in perfect condition as are all three on the other side of the saddle. Although I have said local collection only I would be happy for someone to arrange for it to be collected by courier.

I am selling my Ideal General Purpose brown English leather cob saddle.  It has a " seat and measures approx. 8 1/2" D to D ring.  It has been used on a 16 hand cob and has both a point strap and balance strap for a better fit. It is in good used condition with strong girth straps.  The tree and stitching are sound.   Sadly It does have a couple of  marks on it (see last 2 pictures) but these are of no detriment to the saddle or rider. Grab yourself a bargain as these are good well made quality saddles. UK bidders only.
