This lovely comfortable saddle has been kept as new - cleaned after every outing and stored indoors. Regularly checked and re-flocked as necessary. It's only flaw is a slight split right at the end of one of the girth straps (see photograph) but this does not affect the functionality of the strap at all. I have a small piece of duct tape around it to prevent it splitting further and so that I can easily thread it through the girth buckle without further damaging it. The other two straps are in perfect condition as are all three on the other side of the saddle. Although I have said local collection only I would be happy for someone to arrange for it to be collected by courier.

I am selling my Ideal General Purpose brown English leather cob saddle.  It has a " seat and measures approx. 8 1/2" D to D ring.  It has been used on a 16 hand cob and has both a point strap and balance strap for a better fit. It is in good used condition with strong girth straps.  The tree and stitching are sound.   Sadly It does have a couple of  marks on it (see last 2 pictures) but these are of no detriment to the saddle or rider. Lovely black 17.5inch saddle, (unknown make) I bought this saddle brand new to back a youngster 4 years ago, I only used it half a dozen times, before getting him professionally fitted, it has sat in storage in my house ever since. taken out at regular intervals to clean with Stubben professional products.and always covered with a saddle cloth, it is as new, there is no sign of wear on the suede knee rolls, and very very little wear signs on girth straps,  it has a very deep secure seat, slightly cut back pommel, ideal for the high withered Thoroughbred types (which is what it was bought for) it has very deep flocking at the back of the saddle, and very comfortable. Recently checked by a saddler and in in perfect condition. I AM SELLING A SELECTION OF SADDLES AS NO LONGER NEEDED, THEY ARE ALL IN FABULOUS CONDITION, PLEASE SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS.
