Beautiful saddle just isn't right for my new horse. Has been very well looked after and used very lightly. It has a changeable gullet, I have a black medium in it but I also have a red wide if needed. Cair system and also has a purple bates saddle cover. Complete with Bates purple cover and two Velcro knee rolls (not shown), 17.5" saddle with extra wide gullet (white), black leather.  Approx 8 years old.  In good condition and looked after very well but as photos show, slight damage to the cantle.  There are some white hairs where the knee rolls attach due to colour of horse which is reflected in the price.

Heart breaking sale, as this does not fit my 3XW mare. A very comfortable saddle that is lovely for schooling flat work, with panels cut just high enough to jump also. CAIR panels were re- done by Weatherbeeta who manufacture the bags in June . It is in used condition (pictures of wear on the girth guard) however still polishes up beautifully for the show ring. My all time favourite saddle I have ever ridden in, I am a size and I feel very secure whilst riding in it. The easy change gullet system makes it ideal as a nice saddle for a youngster who may change shape. These bates sit lovely and flat on the back and where Wintecs have risen slightly in trot this does not- I have tried this on a few horses when people have asked to see it and on many different shapes there is no bridging or lifting and the back panels provide a wider area than some of the wintec saddles so more pressure is distributed. A chance to have a really quality changeable saddle for someone who perhaps cant quite manage the price of a new one.

17.5" Brown Bates Caprilli general purpose saddle for sale. This saddle has the CAIR system and changeable gullets. It currently has the yellow (narrow) gullet inserted but is easily changed. There are a couple of scratches on the knee roll (see photo) which are unnoticeable when riding but it has been well cared for and is in great condition for a used saddle. It's in good condition and only for sale as I predominantly do dressage now, so will change this for a GP for hacking and some jumping.
