Heart breaking sale, as this does not fit my 3XW mare. A very comfortable saddle that is lovely for schooling flat work, with panels cut just high enough to jump also. CAIR panels were re- done by Weatherbeeta who manufacture the bags in June . It is in used condition (pictures of wear on the girth guard) however still polishes up beautifully for the show ring. My all time favourite saddle I have ever ridden in, I am a size and I feel very secure whilst riding in it. The easy change gullet system makes it ideal as a nice saddle for a youngster who may change shape. These bates sit lovely and flat on the back and where Wintecs have risen slightly in trot this does not- I have tried this on a few horses when people have asked to see it and on many different shapes there is no bridging or lifting and the back panels provide a wider area than some of the wintec saddles so more pressure is distributed. A chance to have a really quality changeable saddle for someone who perhaps cant quite manage the price of a new one.

17.5" Brown Bates Caprilli general purpose saddle for sale. This saddle has the CAIR system and changeable gullets. It currently has the yellow (narrow) gullet inserted but is easily changed. There are a couple of scratches on the knee roll (see photo) which are unnoticeable when riding but it has been well cared for and is in great condition for a used saddle. You are bidding on an 18" Bates Caprilli changeable gullet dressage saddle in black. This saddle is used but in excellent condition. Currently containing a narrow gullet however I also have a medium narrow which I will throw in for the winning bidder if required. I have had the Cair removed & the saddle flocked, however if the winner would like the flocking removed & the air bags back in, I can also get this sorted ASAP for you (the saddle fitter owes me one!) If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to ask- it's an absolutely fabulous saddle which has done me a great few years of competing, it's just a shame my lad has changed shape with age so it no longer fits. I love this saddle and Im only selling as I have decided to go down the mono flap route. It has been well used but well looked after snd it is a fantastic colour with contrast stitching. It has the usual asthetic marks you would expect with a used saddle but nothing serious or particularly noticeable. Most significant are a depression mark in one place from horses teeth and some small scars in the leather at the corner of the cantle from general use (see pictures). Overall it is a smart saddle in good condition. The the straps and stitching are fully intacted and the leather is soft and well conditioned. It has Cair panels for the horses comfort and a quick and easy change gullet system. It is currently fitted with a medium sized gullet. Please ask any questions.

Absolutely immaculate Bates Caprilli cair dressage saddle in black 17.5". Currently fitted with a medium gullet but I do have a medium wide and also wide that it could be changed to.   The saddle also comes with the blue/purple fleece cover and changeable knee blocks.   This saddle has barely been used since I bought it from new and it in absolutely immaculate condition. It has been valued last week by saddles direct at £495 (valuation can be seen on request).
