I'm selling my beautiful 3 yr old, 17" Bates Caprilli Jumping Saddle, was £840 new! It has an adjustable gullet and currently fitted with a medium gullet bar. It also has Cair. It's in good condition and only for sale as I predominantly do dressage now, so will change this for a GP for hacking and some jumping. Well looked after saddle in excellent condition. Only mark is the usual wear & tear from the stirrup leathers. This saddle has a deep seat with knee rolls to help maintain a good rider position.   The cair distributes the weight more evenly over the horses back.   The saddle is currently in the red gullet (wide) but can easily be adjusted to any width. We have all the width adjustable gullets & can be sold with whichever suits your needs. Happy for anyone local to try saddle, as I know how difficult it is trying saddles.

Used Brown 16.5 Bates Caprilli Close Contact Jump Saddle. Although it is used it is still in very good condition, it has been kept clean and under a saddle cloth. Complete with Bates purple cover and two Velcro knee rolls (not shown), 17.5" saddle with extra wide gullet (white), black leather.  Approx 8 years old.  In good condition and looked after very well but as photos show, slight damage to the cantle.  There are some white hairs where the knee rolls attach due to colour of horse which is reflected in the price.

I love this saddle and Im only selling as I have decided to go down the mono flap route. It has been well used but well looked after snd it is a fantastic colour with contrast stitching. It has the usual asthetic marks you would expect with a used saddle but nothing serious or particularly noticeable. Most significant are a depression mark in one place from horses teeth and some small scars in the leather at the corner of the cantle from general use (see pictures). Overall it is a smart saddle in good condition. The the straps and stitching are fully intacted and the leather is soft and well conditioned. It has Cair panels for the horses comfort and a quick and easy change gullet system. It is currently fitted with a medium sized gullet. Please ask any questions.

I have for sale a Bates Caprilli GP 18” interchangeable gullet saddle, the saddle comes with bates stirrup leathers. It’s in very good condition. The saddle is currently fitted with the narrow medium Gullet (green), We have the (black) medium and the (blue) medium wide gullet which can be sold with either fitted. Beautiful Bates saddle 17.5 " with changeable gullet system. Been lovingly cared for & used since i had from new 5 years ago. It was unused for 12 months. Slight mark on seat, where it was scratched against the ramp, but now just looks like a darker mark. I can include Bates leathers as shown. You are bidding on an 18" Bates Caprilli changeable gullet dressage saddle in black. This saddle is used but in excellent condition. Currently containing a narrow gullet however I also have a medium narrow which I will throw in for the winning bidder if required. I have had the Cair removed & the saddle flocked, however if the winner would like the flocking removed & the air bags back in, I can also get this sorted ASAP for you (the saddle fitter owes me one!) If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to ask- it's an absolutely fabulous saddle which has done me a great few years of competing, it's just a shame my lad has changed shape with age so it no longer fits.
