It is a level 2 Myler bit which is ideal for the intermediate level horse, and also for many beginners. It encourages the horse to bend, balance and relax at the poll. This mouthpiece features a 1/4" port to introduce tongue relief. This bit acts on the tongue and corner of bars, gently wrapping lips, but the port gives more tongue relief when the bit is not engaged by the rider. Features: Traditional Eggbutt cheek piece without hooks Copper inlay on side of bars to encourage salivation 7/16" bars shaped in pronounced curve to allow comfortable swallowing Curved mouthpiece with a 1 1/8" jointed centre barrel.
